Whoa!! Ok fellow animator here. I must know your workflow on animating that dog. Is it cell shaded 3D? Looks really cool.

I drew rough frames of Alfred that got the movement exactly how I wanted it, as expressive as I could possibly make it. Then I created new layers where I drew refined versions of said frames divided into sections like the head/neck and facial features in individual different layers. Then it was a matter of doing shit tons of in-between frames, the majority of which got re-drawn to make the motion more fluid and re-thinking some of the details as problems arise. When creating the in-betweens it's really all about your depth thinking about every tiny detail of the movement and where you try and mimic realistic movement.
If anyone has any ideas for that method or questions, gimmie a review.
